Elvis Presley’s ’68 Comeback – A Great Return
August 26. – 18:30 - 20:10
Fifty years have passed since the legendary television controversy of Elvis Presley, the undisputed king of Rock’n’Roll, who resumed his musical career as a missile. This intimate, unplugged concert was released by Elvis in a TV show in a narrow circle of fans after a 7-year hiatus due to the fact that he did not have any concerts in the 1960s due to his films. The one and a half hour live show was broadcast live in a live broadcast live in the United States in December 1968. On the studio concert there were classic melodies like Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender, Little Less Conversation or If I Can Dream. After the revelation, Elvis finally returned to the concert, having performed more than 1000 concerts since his death from 1969 to 1977, and was the first musician to perform his concert on the satellite – these years gave the peak of his musical career. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Comeback Special, the digitally restored and rewritten concert-movie will return to theaters in a limited series of projections worldwide, where rock’n’roll fans can almost experience the iconic musician’s energetic performer talents and unmistakable emissivity.
