One of the highlights of the summer season is the Szeged Open-Air Festival every year, which delights its audience at two locations, Dóm Square and the Újszeged Outdoor Stage. On Dóm Square, the grand concert of the world-famous pianist Bence Péter with the Szeged Symphony Orchestra, the independent show of the season the musical Sylvester Lévay and Michael Kunze, Rebecca, the world musical of Péter Geszti, István Monori and István Tasnádi One Thousand and One Nights and Stephen, the king rock -opera awaits the audience.
The Újszeged Open-Air Stage also offers a colorful selection for fans of music genres. We can choose from the following performances and performers: Dixieland Gala, Margaret Island concert, “Imre Kálmán – 120 minutes around the Earth” operetta gala, Zsuzsa Koncz, Csókkirály, the show concert, Vera Tóth and the Budapest Jazz Orchestra: Encounters, “I’m Silent” – Tamás Cseh memorial evening, “Csiribiri” – Judit Halász concert for children.
