Two amazing flying events in SzegedBoth events offer a wonderful sight to those interested. More than 120 competitors come to Szeged for the World Hot Air Balloon Championship and color the sky with their balloons for 7 days. Balloons in all the colors of the rainbow rise up at sunrise and sunset. Don't miss this miracle, visit Szeged between 8 and 14 September! Spectacular hungarian airshows and special foreign machines, drones, helicopters, gliders, propellers and jets, modellers, and paratroopers await visitors at the SZIA International Airshow. On September 13 and 14, the public can see, among others, such world-famous teams as the Romanian three-plane aerobatic formation Aerobatic Yakers, the Polish Flying Dragons group or the Slovakian Retro Sky Team. Visitors to the Szeged airport can meet the world's first "flying car", the AutoGyro, but on the weekend there will also be a drone show and a skydiving demonstration. The Czech jet L-29 Delfin, the Italian turbofan military training aircraft Jet Marchetti S-211, the Soviet-designed MI-2 transport helicopter and the first-generation Soviet jet fighter MIG-15 also appear in the sky.
