The Szeged International Folk Dance Festival Foundation has been organizing the Szeged International Folk Dance Festival and the Martin György Folk Dance Festival on behalf of the Szeged Municipality since 2009.
The 2023 international festival will include a street march, an opening ceremony with dance in Dugonics Square, Folklore Night in the Little Theatre, orienteering, i.e. guest performances in the cultural centres, and a gala in the Great Theatre to close the series of events.
