22 March is World Water Day worldwide. This occasion provides an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of water, the importance of conserving water resources and the importance of preserving water quality.

The water tower features permanent exhibitions on the making of sparkling water, the history of physics, and new information panels on drinking water and wastewater, and the conscious use of water and sanitation.
In addition to the permanent exhibitions, short films about drinking water and wastewater made by the Szeged Waterworks can be seen in the water tower.

Interesting water-related exercises, educational and useful publications and games are also available.

Visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of Szeged from the observation deck.

You do not need to book in advance!

On Friday, 24 March, admission to the water tower is free! On Saturday the entrance fee is 600 HUF/person

Friday 24 March 2023: 9.00 – 17.00
Saturday 25 March 2023 and Sunday 26 March 2023: 10.00 – 17.00
