Since the era of Maria Theresa, corps, barracks have always been present in Szeged but unfortunately, there are no active corps presently. Thus, the young people, the future generations and the tourists cannot see the beauties of military life at close quarters.
On our exhibition several armours, helicopters and guns were exposed.
I just would mention some curiosities: MI-24D war helicopter, T-55-ös war tank, 2SZ1 self-propelling gun…
Visitors can perceive the imposing size and the realities of the assets drawn off the system of the Hungarian People’s Army and the present Army at close quarters.
We welcome the tourists and the visitors if they want to spend a pleasant day in the military technology of our recent past, as well as would like to visit our indoor exhibition connected to the four branches.
The aim of our exhibition is that children with play, the youth with expansion their knowledge, and the elder with some nostalgia meet the disarmed tools of the army withdrawn from the system.
