The water tower in Szent István tér is one of the first reinforced concrete water towers. It is such a successful creation that it has served as a model for decades in the latest water tower construction. Today it is the oldest working reinforced concrete water tower in Hungary.
In the water tower, in addition to the beauties of the magnificent engineering work, you can see exhibitions, paintings, drawings and photos related to the making of saline water and the history of physics, and at the exhibition level we can admire the panorama of Szeged.

On this day, anyone can see the water tower and the exhibitions in it without prior registration.
From 10:00 to 16:00, you can visit the tower by purchasing a ticket.
Ticket prices: adult: 610 HUF, student, pensioner: 400 HUF, free for 6 years.
