THEALTER was launched in 1991 and has since become one of the most important summer theatre festivals in Hungarian theatre. In addition to the fresh and exciting independent productions of the season, foreign companies also come to Szeged.

The theatre performances will be accompanied by a rich programme of events, including open-air productions, children’s programmes, music, exhibitions and professional events.
