Szeged’s newest swimming complex, the Tiszavirág Sports Swimming Pool, is a covered, fully accessible facility that welcomes sports enthusiasts all year round.
With its 50-metre competition pool, training pool, warm-up pool, and both indoor and outdoor relaxation pools with seating, it provides training opportunities for athletes from numerous clubs and associations. Since its opening, it has already hosted many swimming competitions and water polo matches.
The wellness area includes a steam cabin, Kneipp pools and Kneipp walking pools, Finnish saunas, an infrared sauna, and a cold plunge pool.
Sun lovers can enjoy the summer sunshine on the outdoor sun terraces.
Guests have access to a co-ed changing area with individual changing cubicles, family and accessible cubicles, as well as group changing rooms and athletes’ changing rooms.
The athletes’ section features team changing rooms, a massage room, a medical room, a conditioning gym, a fitness room, referees’ changing rooms, coaches’ offices, and an event area with a VIP lounge, conference room, and a VIP catering preparation area.
The swimming complex also offers a car park with 256 spaces, parking for 8 buses, and storage for 168 bicycles.
