One for all – all for one! – who doesn’t know the story of Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and the young D’Artagnan? The adventures of the musketeers now captivate audiences in a brand-new adaptation produced by the Szeged Open-Air Games. Based on the book by André Breedland, the legendary songwriting duo Rob and Ferdi Bolland return to Dóm Square with The Three Musketeers musical, full of their energetic songs.

The thrilling and twist-filled production features all the iconic characters from Alexandre Dumas’ cult novel, along with the musketeers’ friends and foes: King Louis and Queen Anne, the charming Constance, the scheming Cardinal Richelieu and his villainous henchman Rochefort, the Duke of Buckingham, and the cunning Milady, whose actions conceal tragic secrets. In this new Szeged Open-Air Games production, audiences will witness breathtaking duels, secret meetings, and cat-and-mouse games for power and happiness on Hungary’s largest stage, where the performers sometimes literally walk the razor’s edge, and conspiracies spanning the English Channel decide the fate of lovers and the entire Kingdom of France.

The main roles are performed by renowned Hungarian musical stars, supported by an outstanding creative team, bringing the exhilarating musical of camaraderie, love, intrigue, and adventure to the Szeged Open-Air Games audience.
