Móra Ferenc Museum
Roosevelt tér 1-3.

The Night of Museums is a Hungarian cultural event based on an international model, first held in 2002. Since 2003, the event has typically taken place on the Saturday closest to Midsummer’s Eve. Participating institutions across the country welcome visitors with numerous programs and extended opening hours during this night.

In Szeged, many cultural institutions and exhibition venues join the event every year.

The Móra Ferenc Museum usually schedules the opening of its temporary exhibition expected to attract significant interest around this time. The museum’s exhibition spaces can be visited on this evening at a discounted rate with a single ticket. In addition, outdoor performances, craft workshops, and guided tours are offered for both children and adults.

At the central building of the Somogyi Library on Dóm Square, visitors can enjoy a discounted registration campaign, playful children’s programs, and the opportunity to visit the memorial library.

The Szent-Györgyi Albert Agora also offers a variety of programs for visitors during this special night.
