Every June, the rose growers of Szőreg celebrate their flowers, which are famous throughout Europe, with a series of programs. During the Szőreg Rose Festival, the streets and squares of the district are decorated with flowers.
The events of the Musical Courtyard are held in the courtyard of the Szeged City Hall. The small auditorium can accommodate 250-300 people thus it creates a more intimate connection between the artist and his audience.
The two-day event will begin on Tuesday afternoon, August 19th, at Széchenyi Square, where live concerts, children’s programs, and a brass band meeting await those looking for entertainment.

The Szeged Jazz Days is one of the oldest jazz festivals in Hungary. It is a popular meeting point for the genre, and its diverse programs are frequently visited not only by domestic and international audiences but also by the world’s leading musicians.
The aim of the month-long series of events is to allow art groups operating at the University of Szeged, students with artistic ambitions, and renowned performing and creative artists to introduce themselves to the Szeged audience.
