In 1991, the former Százszorszép Children’s House started organizing the Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Festival with the aim of creating a debut opportunity for groups living and working primarily in Csongrád County.
The two-day event will begin on Tuesday afternoon, August 19th, at Széchenyi Square, where live concerts, children’s programs, and a brass band meeting await those looking for entertainment.

Many Hungarian zoos are waiting for visitors to the Night at the Zoo program, and of course the Szeged Zoo is also part of the national program. According to tradition, the event takes place every year on the last Friday evening of August.
We look forward to welcoming you to a fun, creative pumpkin carving event, as well as interactive activities, stage programs, a craft fair, a carousel, a giant building block and, of course, an open water tower on Szent István Square.
