Between May 8 and 10, the City of Sunshine will once again host the world’s best canoe and kayak athletes.

The 30th Szeged Wine Festival – Szeged Day Celebration Series begins a week later than usual: on 21 May – Day of Szeged.

At Dugonics Square, a wealth of new book releases, author signings, discussions, and musical performances will draw lovers of reading and the arts to the book stalls.

On September 16, Dóm Square will once again come to life as the five-day autumn wine festival begins in Szeged.

In connection with the feast of Saint Gellért, the Szeged-Csanád Diocese organizes the Saint Gellért International Festival every autumn. The concerts feature rare classical music pieces that further enrich the city’s vibrant musical life.

Following tradition, Szeged Advent, the season of preparation, begins on November 27, before the first Sunday of Advent.
