The Summer Theatre Evenings is a series of cultural events with varied and colourful programmes await the audience in the mediterranean-style courtyard of the City Hall in Szeged.

This year, the Szeged MASZK Association is organising the 35th edition of THEALTER festival, which for three decades has been presenting the most exciting productions of the Hungarian independent theatre scene every summer.

We look forward to welcoming you to a fun, creative pumpkin carving event, as well as interactive activities, stage programs, a craft fair, a carousel, a giant building block and, of course, an open water tower on Szent István Square.

The aim of the month-long series of events is to allow art groups operating at the University of Szeged, students with artistic ambitions, and renowned performing and creative artists to introduce themselves to the Szeged audience.
