Pálinka Festival

The city is still ruled by frost and those heading for the main square walk among heaps of snow when the small wooden houses of Pálinka Festival start to offer, sausages, puddings and other delicious foods as well as the soul-warming fruit pálinkas.

International Tisza Fish Festival

It is enough to take a sniff on the bank of the River Tisza at the first weekend of September and everybody knows it is the time of the International Tisza Fish Festival. On the remains of the one-time water bastion there is a giant 5,000 litre cauldron, in which the most precious food in Szeged, the fish soup, is cooked, with the use of many different fish and a multi-stage procedure.

Szeged Military Park

Since the era of Maria Theresa, corps, barracks have always been present in Szeged but unfortunately, there are no active corps presently. Thus, the young people, the future generations and the tourists cannot see the beauties of military life at close quarters.

Tisza Palota Apartments

Tisza Palota was built in Szeged in 2009. In the building there are flats, offices, and shops. Our garage is under the building, from where the flats can be reached by elevators.

Anna Bath

The white-walled eclectic style building in Tisza Lajos Boulevard, reflecting Oriental effects, designed by Antal Steinhardt and Adolf Lang, was built in 1896. Originally it functioned as a city public bath. It took its name from the nearby artesian well drilled in 1927 and its water.
