The Szeged City Rock Club has been the cradle of rock music in Szeged since 1980. Over nearly half a century, it has hosted thousands of concerts, welcomed thousands of visitors, and been home to countless unforgettable experiences.
On weekdays, the club offers free foosball, darts, music listening, literary discussions, book presentations, and jam sessions, while on weekends it welcomes music lovers with live concerts. Two rehearsal rooms and freely available musical instruments are at the visitors’ disposal, and guests can satisfy their hunger with pizza or burgers.
In 2021, on its 40th anniversary, the club was honored with the Pop History Memorial Site title, commemorated to this day by a marble plaque beside the entrance.
