The Ujvári Winery was founded in 1980 by Mihály Ujvári. Today, we cultivate 7 hectares of land within the administrative area of Szeged, and we produce our wines from the grapes grown here. Our main goal is to bring the grape and wine culture of Szeged closer to people once again. Our wines are primarily characterized by a light, fruity style, but our selection also includes late-harvest sweet wines, light red wines, and sparkling wines.
What makes us unique is that every label on our bottles features a motif connected to Szeged, allowing us to showcase the city’s atmosphere and values through our wines. At our winery, we regularly organize wine tastings and events for corporate and private groups. In an authentic and friendly environment, we can accommodate up to 100 guests, where they can not only enjoy our wines but also learn about the past and present of the Csongrád wine region. Guests are welcomed by prior appointment.
