Weinan has a population of more than 5 million. It lies at the eastern part of Guanzhong, in the middle of the Province of Shaanxi, in the north-western territory of China. The total territory of the city and its agglomeration is 13.000 square km. It has good agricultural characteristics. The environment offers good conditions to the development of the flora and fauna. During the more than 2000 years of the different dinasties, advanced agriculture, handicraft, trade and transportation have developed in Weinan.
