Emmarozs is one of the best-known artisan bakeries in Szeged, Hungary. It started in 2020 as a small home-based micro bakery and has since grown into a fully established bakery workshop. Their products are made using traditional sourdough techniques, long fermentation times, and no additives, often using organic ingredients in their Szeged-based bakery.
Their core range includes freshly baked pain de campagne (French country bread), as well as whole grain breads made from wheat, rye, spelt, einkorn, and kamut flour. They also offer fresh baguettes, butter croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish pastries, and other laminated pastries. The bakery regularly features international specialties such as rugbrød and pastel de nata.
Beyond high-quality sourdough baked goods, Emmarozs is also popular for its specialty coffee, breakfast, and brunch offerings, and it provides catering services for business and community events.
Emmarozs Mérey
The original Emmarozs location, where the business first started in 2020. It operates as an open bakery workshop, allowing guests to observe parts of the baking process.
