This year, the Founding Day celebrations will last 5 days, and as last year, the venue will be Széchenyi Square. The festive fireworks display will be visible from the quay on 20 August from 21.00.

The five-day event will start on Friday afternoon 16 August at Széchenyi Square, with live concerts, children’s shows, a brass band meeting and a street ball.

Of course, it’s not just the programmes that will be worth a visit, as Széchenyi Square will be transformed into a real craft and gastronomic market.
In addition to wineries, there will also be small breweries, caterers and artisans.

The commemoration will take place on the morning of 20 August:
