The Water Tower on Szent István Square can be visited again on Saturday

A beautifully designed recreation park and a special feature of industrial history, the country’s first water tower made of reinforced concrete, welcome visitors to Szent István Square. The tower, capable of holding 1,004.8 m3 of water, was designed by Szilárd Zielinski, it was built in 1904 and still serves its original function. It was built entirely of reinforced concrete, the entrance door and the 54.9 high flag pole are no exception.
